Ha Ha Tonka "Tonksgiving" 2015

Ha Ha Tonka held their 5th annual Thanksgiving show at Off Broadway on November 27, which they appropriately dubbed "Tonksgiving." It's something I look forward to every year! They always put on a fun, heartfelt set. I first became hooked on them back in 2011, with their release of "Death of a Decade." Since then I've never missed a show when they've been in town! Not only are they great musicians, but they're also super nice guys who genuinely care about their fans. It's also pretty obvious they love what they do. It's basically a party on stage at every show! Last year at Off Broadway they recorded the show, and recently released it on vinyl which I was super excited to get my hands on. It's pretty cool to have a recording of a show I was at, of one of my favorite bands & favorite venue in St. Louis :) They've also announced that they're in the process of recording their next album, right here in St. Louis at Sawhorse Studios! Enjoy some photos from this past Friday!

Opening the evening this year were The Yawpers, heavy rock'n'rollers out of Denver, CO who basically destroyed all of our eardrums!
